THE REBRANDING OF CLIPPER INTERALL
ObjetTextile
Following the merger of Clipper and Interall three years ago, the new brand, Clipper Interall, is positioning itself in the promotional products market.
In 1945, the company began as a pen business. Clipper was the first in the Netherlands to introduce printed promotional gifts and direct marketing; catalog sales. In 2022, Clipper took its first step toward sustainability by acquiring the Interall Group. Since 2023, the company has operated under the name of Clipper Interall.
Rebranding and focus
Before the merger, Clipper held a position similar to that of other generalists. Interall, on the other hand, distinguished itself with a different, more sustainable approach to sourcing. Consequently, the merger gave the company a new image, a new story, and a new direction. As a supplier and generalist in the market, Clipper Interall adds value to brands by importing, printing, and supplying functional, reusable, and sustainable promotional gifts. Their goal is a sustainable and certified collection, in cooperation with European brands, including B Corp certified companies.
Clipper Interall aims to become the leading supplier of sustainable promotional gifts. “We recognize the need for change and want to inspire others to take action to care for our planet. With our partners and suppliers, we aim to accelerate the transition to ‘sustainable’ gifts.”

A sustainable and certified collection
Currently, their "WoW Sustainable Collection" represents 40% of their product range, with the goal of reaching 80% by 2030. In terms of materials, their sourcing strategy rests on three pillars: using waste, recycled, and/or natural materials for their products. Clipper Interall products feature sustainability characteristics such as "recycled" and "eco-friendly," and these attributes are supported by globally recognized sustainability certifications such as GRS, RCS, GOTS, and FSC. Some of their best-selling items are now available in a more sustainable version.
Clipper Interall also works with GSES to measure the CO2 impact of their products. GSES is a system that forms a universal and global sustainability standard, based on hundreds of sustainability labels and standards for manufacturers, suppliers, and end users.

Reusability is an important topic
Clipper Interall aims to maximize the gift-giving experience with minimal environmental impact.
One of Clipper Interall's key objectives is to offer products that are useful gifts rather than disposable items that end up in the trash within 24 hours. Useful gifts, such as a coffee mug, notebook, or bag, are ideal promotional gifts for adding brand value. Combine this with the product's circularity, and your brand will reap the rewards.
