A "work in progress" CSR strategy at the heart of the organization of our trade shows
Since 2020, the teams of Infopro Digital Trade Shows are implementing a continuous improvement approach in order to reduce the environmental impact of their events.
This CSR strategy aims to design trade shows becoming increasingly responsible by building a virtuous ecosystem, in close collaboration with exhibitors, visitors and all of our partners.
Educational communication tools
To support exhibitors in this process, we are providing them with practical tools to facilitate good environmental practices:
- Publication of a “Waste Sorting Guide” explaining the guidelines to be followed before, during and after the event.
- Distribution of the guide to all exhibitors in advance.
More sustainable exhibition stands and activity areas

Our exhibition stand design choices incorporate environmental criteria at every stage:
- Selection of committed suppliers who prioritise eco-design, sustainable materials, the reuse of equipment and optimised waste management.
- Priority is given to local suppliers in order to minimise transport and reduce the carbon footprint.
- Design of stands that can be shared and reused across several of the group’s trade fairs (target: a minimum of 10 reuses).
- 100% LED lighting on the stands.
- Use of electricity certified as green by the Carrousel du Louvre.
- Shutting down heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems during the set-up and dismantling phases.
- Removal of carpet from the aisles.

Promoting more responsible mobility
To encourage more sustainable travel:
- Raising awareness amongst exhibitors and visitors about sustainable modes of transport.
- Providing a free car-sharing service, in partnership with MOBICOOP, available to both exhibitors and visitors.
During dismantling
We also take a responsible approach to dismantling:
- We have been sharing our signage components and event spaces with CAGIBIG since 2021,
- Our supplier OPTIMA recovers signage cores for reuse.
- We have introduced a waste sorting scheme using dedicated bins to collect four types of waste: General Industrial Waste (GIW), cardboard, plastic film and glass.
