The Schneider Reco ballpoint pen is evolving. It is now available in two new versions.
The Reco ballpoint pen is expanding. It is now available in two new versions. In addition to the existing "Basic" version, Schneider Electric has added the "Line" version, featuring a contrasting colored line on the barrel, and the "Max" version, with a wider clip. Furthermore, the company has provided a larger imprint area on the pen barrel.
The Reco not only boasts unique characteristics such as high-quality materials, innovative strength, and a clear commitment to sustainability, but it has also swept up every conceivable award on the market: It was the first ballpoint pen to be awarded the Blue Angel, the world's most prestigious environmental award. For over 40 years, the Blue Angel has been the German Federal Government's eco-label. Independent and credible, it sets demanding standards for products. The label helps authorities, business leaders, companies, and individual consumers make informed choices about sustainable purchasing. Furthermore, it has received the PSI Sustainability Award for "Sustainable Product," the PBS Report Green Award, the Promotional Gift Award 2021, and the German Design Award 2021.
The sleek, dynamic design combined with its satin finish creates a simple yet elegant look. Thanks to the sophisticated "Mix & Match" principle, the various parts of the pen—such as the tip, barrel, clip, cap, and push button—can be assembled in numerous different color combinations, allowing the product to be constantly adapted to the company's colors. The internal components are equally noteworthy. Not only is the pen barrel made of 92% environmentally friendly and resource-saving plastic, but the "Eco 725 M" high-capacity refill also contains 95% recycled material. Refilling is quick and easy. A special feature for advertisers is that Schneider can provide pad printing compliant with the Blue Angel ecolabel for environmentally conscious advertising. Furthermore, the ballpoint pen offers a large printing area in seven different positions.
The ink is available in black or blue. The inks are indelible according to ISO 12757-2. Thanks to its pleasantly smooth and consistent ink flow, the Reco ensures clean writing.
